Mayors and Independents call on Justice Ministry to publish final report on bitcoin case

The leadership of the Mayors and Independents party (STAN) is calling on the Ministry of Justice to finalize and release a written report on the bitcoin case investigation.

Party spokesperson Lukáš Novák confirmed to the Czech News Agency that the demand follows the resignation of coordinator David Uhlíř, who was originally expected to submit the report by the end of August. Uhlíř had served in the role since June 19.

Justice Minister Eva Decroix (SPOLU) said Uhlíř fulfilled his mandate of ensuring transparency and legal oversight. However, STAN insists the report should still be completed, as was agreed in the original contract with the ministry.
