Czech FM Lipavský reaffirms support for two-state solution in call with Israeli counterpart

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský (Spolu) reiterated Czechia’s support for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict during a phone call with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar. He also thanked Israel for its fight against Islamic terrorism and welcomed renewed humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza. Lipavský made the remarks in connection with an ongoing UN conference in New York focused on peace efforts in the region. He urged adherence to the EU-Israel agreement on aid delivery, stressing that civilian safety must remain a priority.
