Over the weekend, strong thunderstorms may occur in north and west of Bohemia

On Friday and Saturday afternoon and evening, strong thunderstorms accompanied by torrential rain are expected in parts of Bohemia. Up to 40 liters of water per square meter may fall. Due to previous rainfall, there is an increased risk of local flooding or flash floods in the northern mountain areas. The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ) has issued a warning with a low level of danger.
