Senate will not deal with bitcoin case, as opposition ANO club wanted

The Senate will not deal with the bitcoin case as a whole, as the opposition ANO movement demanded. According to deputies of parties within the ruling coalition, the case should still be dealt with by the Senate Security Committee. According to the chairwoman of the ANO senators, Jana Mračková Vildumetzová, the Senate should have stated that the Minister of Justice Eva Decroix is not proceeding with the bitcoin case in accordance with the Act on the Rules of Procedure of the Upper Chamber of Parliament. Apart from the twelve representatives of the ANO club present, none of the other fifty-three senators supported the proposal on Wednesday.
