Study: Most Czech HR professionals see older workers as disadvantaged
More than three quarters of Czech HR professionals believe employees over 55 are disadvantaged on the job market, according to a survey by Moore Czech Republic and the Czech HR Association. Age-related stereotypes, health issues and difficulties adapting to new technologies are seen as key obstacles. At the same time, 82 percent of respondents said older workers bring valuable experience to companies. Only 13 percent of HR specialists think workers over 55 have the same chances as younger applicants, while 90 percent see age as a major hiring barrier for those over 60.
