Skateboarding elite gathers in Prague for 30th Mystic Sk8 Cup

The 30th edition of the Mystic Sk8 Cup has kicked off in the Czech capital. The international skateboarding competition is being held through Sunday at the newly renovated Štvanice skatepark and its surrounding area. Alongside the sporting events, the program includes concerts and various cultural activities.

Mystic Sk8 Cup ranks among the largest skateboarding competitions in Europe and is one of the longest-running events of its kind globally. First held in 1994, the competition is part of the international World Cup Skateboarding series.

This year's edition will welcome around 200 riders from across the globe, including top athletes such as Andy MacDonald, holder of a record 23 X Games medals and the oldest skateboarder to have competed at the Olympic Games, Danish pro Rune Glifberg and Californian skater Omar Hassan.
