Boston Bruins forward Pastrňák expected to win Golden Hockey Stick again tonight
The Golden Hockey Stick award for the best Czech ice hockey player of the past season will be announced tonight at the Vinohrady Theatre in Prague. Boston Bruins forward David Pastrňák, a seven-time winner of the prestigious prize, is considered the leading favorite. Since 2017, he was only once beaten—by Ondřej Palát in 2021. Ten finalists made it to the final voting round, including six NHL players, three from the Czech Extraliga, and David Tomášek, who played for Färjestad in Sweden.
