Pirates and Greens join forces ahead of general elections

The Pirate Party and the Greens have signed a memorandum of cooperation ahead of the autumn general elections. The Pirate Party’s election ticked will be strengthened by Green Party experts and independent professionals, Pirate Party leader Zdeněk Hřib announced on X. The Pirates’ candidate lists will include about thirty Green Party candidates across eight regions. In regions where Pirate members voted against including the Greens, the Greens will not contest. Hřib said that both parties share key priorities: reviving the Czech economy, lowering taxes for families, securing affordable housing, and defending the rule of law.
