Medieval festival brings history to life in Kutná Hora

On Saturday, a historical parade in the center of Kutná Hora kicked off the Gothic festival "Royal Silvering," during which participants dress in period costumes and symbolically step into the city's historical past.

The two-day event includes musical performances, theatrical scenes, and knightly tournaments. A market with refreshments and souvenirs is also prepared, along with demonstrations of crafts, siege weapons, and juggling. Thousands of people did not miss the festival, held in the park beneath the Italian Court, enjoying the sunny weather. The event is especially popular with families with children. By the afternoon, the area in front of the main stage was packed with visitors, and more crowds watched the performances from the city walls.
