More Czechs are living alone, study shows

The number of people living alone in Czechia is gradually increasing. While 20 years ago only about a quarter of Czech households had a single member, today it is nearly a third. So-called singles are most often people over the age of 65. The share of larger families is decreasing. Households are getting smaller. This was described by the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ).
