Karlovy Vary to premiere cinematic cut of Kingdom Come II

The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival will host the world premiere of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II – Cinematic Cut. The film adaptation of the hit Czech video game will be shown in the festival’s Special Screenings section.

Set in early 15th-century Bohemia, the second installment of the game takes players through the landscapes of Český ráj and Kutná Hora during the political struggle between King Wenceslas IV and his brother Sigismund.

Developed by Warhorse Studios, the game launched in February and has already sold around 3 million copies. The original Kingdom Come: Deliverance has sold 10 million copies since its 2018 release.
