Five finalists chosen in race to lead Czech Television

Five candidates have advanced to the final round of voting on who will lead Czech Television on Wednesday: Hynek Chudárek, Libuše Šmuclerová, Miroslav Karas, Milan Fridrich, and Jiří Ponikelský. The decision was made by the Czech Television Council in a secret ballot. A total of 21 people applied for the selection process, with one candidate eliminated by the council. The name of the new director general will be announced on 18 June.
