Rakušan: News that STAN deputy Dvořák knew about bitcoins is intended to distract attention

According to Vít Rakušan, chairman of the Mayors and Independents (STAN) and Minister of the Interior, information about an email that claimed that deputy chairman Karel Dvořák knew about a bitcoin donation to the Ministry of Justice is intended to distract attention from the essential issues and the real culprits.

The incoming Minister of Justice Eva Decroix and the Chairwoman of the ANO parliamentary club Alena Schillerová said over the weekend that they have an email that claimed that Mr. Dvořák, who is Deputy Minister of Justice, knew about the intention to donate bitcoins. Ms. Decroix said on Czech Television's Václav Moravec’s Questions that she was currently unable to assess whether Mr. Dvořák should continue in his position.
