Dutch royal couple due to arrive in Prague on state visit

The Dutch royal couple, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima, are due to arrive in Prague on Tuesday for a state visit. The royal couple will be received with honours at Prague Castle by President Pavel and the First Lady, and meet with Prime Minister Petr Fiala and the heads of parliament. On Wednesday and Thursday the visiting royals have a packed agenda in Prague, including a visit to the headquarters of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL), the Church of the Holy Salvatore and the biggest Czech NGO People in Need. According to the President's Office, the main objective of the state visit is to strengthen friendly relations between the Czech Republic and the Netherlands and deepen economic cooperation and cultural ties between the two nations.
