KHNP files cassation complaint against court order blocking Dukovany agreement

On Tuesday, the Korean energy company KHNP filed a cassation complaint against the order by the Regional Court in Brno that blocked the signing of the final agreement on the construction of new nuclear units at the Dukovany power plant. It wants to prevent the company from incurring damages. In recent days, the company Elektrárna Dukovany II (EDU II), which is in charge of the nuclear tender, also filed a cassation complaint with the Supreme Administrative Court.

The signing of the final agreement with KHNP was originally planned for May 7th. However, the Regional Court in Brno blocked this signing with a preliminary injunction the day before. It decided so at the request of the French company EDF. The court has not yet ruled on EDF's lawsuit.
