Foreign Minister Lipavsky assures Ukrainian counterpart of continued Czech assistence

Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský on Monday held talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Andriy Sybiha, who is a member of the large delegation accompanying President Zelensky to Prague. Minister Lipavsky assured Sybiha of continued Czech support, saying that the Czech commitment to the munitions initiative remains strong and that funding is secured until September of this year. He said that in view of Russia’s unwillingness to stop its aggressive policy it was also essential for the democratic world to maintain the pressure of sanctions.

Minister Sybiha thanked Czechs for their staunch support of Ukraine and for their military assistance, pointing to effective cooperation in securing ammunition and drones.
