Czech expats help spread the word about postal voting

For the first time, Czechs living abroad will be able to vote by mail in this year’s parliamentary elections. With over 600,000 Czech citizens residing abroad, the foreign ministry expects turnout in the tens of thousands. To vote, citizens must register with the electoral list at their local embassy, which can now also be done online or via an updated mobile app. Czech communities around the world are helping promote the postal voting option. Public figures such as model Alena Šeredová and architect Eva Jiřičná have joined the campaign, alongside other expats from Japan and Australia.
