Czech hockey team to face Sweden with Euro Hockey Tour title at stake

The Czech national ice hockey team will take on Sweden on Saturday in Brno at the Czech Games. A win would secure them not only the tournament title but also overall victory in the Euro Hockey Tour. Their fate in the home tournament, however, also depends on Finland beating Switzerland earlier in the day. Coach Radim Rulík has made several lineup changes, including goaltender Daniel Vladař starting and the inclusion of new players like Tomáš Kundrátek and Adam Klapka. Although the Czechs have defeated Sweden three times this season, their opponents now feature 11 NHL reinforcements, including stars Mika Zibanejad and Leo Carlsson.
