Pavel and Pellegrini: Opinions on foreign policy should not influence our relations

Czech President Petr Pavel and his Slovak counterpart, Peter Pellegrini, agreed that differences in perspectives on certain foreign and security policy issues should not negatively impact relations between their countries. Pavel made this statement on Wednesday following a meeting of the Slavkov format, which includes the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Austria. Pellegrini affirmed their shared stance and noted that Slovakia is sometimes portrayed unfavorably in Czech media and public discourse.
