Czech FM Lipavský discusses Ukraine, NATO with US Secretary Rubio

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský spoke with US Secretary of State Mark Rubio on Monday about transatlantic cooperation and efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace for Ukraine. Mr. Lipavský described the conversation as positive, emphasising Czechia’s commitment to working with the US.

According to a statement from the US State Department, Mr. Rubio reaffirmed President Donald Trump’s determination to end the war in Ukraine. The two officials also discussed strengthening NATO defence spending and US-Czech cooperation on energy security through American technology.
