Czechia to ask KHNP to guarantee 30% involvement of Czech companies in building of new reactors
The Czech government will ask the Korean company KHNP, which is to build two nuclear reactors at Dukovany, to guarantee at least a 30% share of Czech companies in the construction process before the final contract is signed, Trade Minister Lukáš Vlček said on Monday. Originally the government pushed for a 60 percent involvement of Czech companies, a requirement that Minister Lukáš Vlček said is still valid. Vlček undertook a working trip to South Korea last week to discuss progress in the preparation of the project and also the involvement of Czech industry.
