Minimum wage in Czechia should rise to CZK 20,900 in 2025
The minimum wage in Czechia will rise by CZK 1, 900 to CZK 20, 900 next year, Czech Labour and Social Affairs Minister Marian Jurečka said on a debate program on Czech Television on Sunday. He said the increase in the minimum wage will benefit roughly half a million people. According to Jurečka, the minimum wage could rise to betwenn CZK 28,000 and CZK 29,000 by 2029. Josef Středula, chairman of the Czech-Moravian Confederation of Trade Unions, has welcomed the move.
