Czech minimum wage to rise to CZK 22,400 in 2026

The minimum wage will increase next year by CZK 1,600 to CZK 22,400 gross. Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Marian Jurečka (Spolu) told Czech Television (ČT). The amount is based on a regulation approved by the government last autumn, according to which the minimum wage should reach 43.4 percent of the average wage next year. According to ČT, the Ministry of Finance’s macroeconomic forecast set the average wage at CZK 51,497.
