Tennis: Muchová reaches Palermo finals

Second seed Karolina Muchova reached the final of the Palermo Open by defeating Romania’s Irina-Camelia Begu 6-1, 6-1 on Saturday evening. The former French Open finalist, ranked No. 35, will face the top seeded Qinwen Zheng of China for the title.

The 27-year-old Czech reached her fifth career final and her first since last August, when she played for the title in Cincinnati. She only triumphed in Seoul in September 2019.
