Smart weather stations monitoring climate change
New smart weather stations on the ridges of the Jeseníky mountains are tracking the impacts of climate change and providing real-time weather data for tourists. These stations send updates every ten minutes. The data help explain phenomena like vegetation die-off and support climate change mitigation efforts. Tourists can access the latest information online or via QR codes at the Jeseníky information center. The project, involving the startup Agdata Smart and the Silva-Tarouca Research Institute, aims to collect data until 2028 for future climate modeling and nature protection strategies.
