Novelist Václav Kahuda dies at 57

The Czech novelist Václav Kahuda has died at the age of 57. The writer, whose real name was Petr Kratochvíl, headed the Czech Writers Association from 2017 to 2018.

He regularly published short stories in many of Czechia’s most important literary journals and his most recent novel, Prám (Ferryboat) came out last year.
