Pardubice decides on emission limits for Chvaletice power plant

The Pardubice regional government finally reached a decision on Friday regarding emission limits for the Chvaletice brown coal power plant, which has been operating for a year without a valid state exemption. The power plant has long been failing to meet emission limits for substances harmful to human health. However, the local government has not yet said publicly what conclusion was reached.

This is the latest in a series of decisions, cancellations and appeals that has been going on for several years.
