Fiala: Russian war crimes growing in number, becoming crueler

The Czech prime minister, Petr Fiala, says that in the last year Russia has shown through its aggression toward Ukraine that it is ready to cross all limits, including humanity. Speaking at a security conference at Prague Castle on Tuesday he said that the list of war crimes committed by the Russians was growing, with the cruelty of such acts intensifying.

The minister of foreign affairs, Jan Lipavský, told delegates that Czechia needed not just to boost its defence but also its diplomacy, in order to limit the influence of Russia and China.
