Czech president to attend B9 summit in Bratislava
Czech president Petr Pavel will take part in the Bratislava summit of NATO’s eastern flank countries on Tuesday. The summit of the so-called Bucharest Nine countries will also be attended by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
According to Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová, who will be hosting the meeting, the statesmen will discuss the impact of Russian aggression in Ukraine and issues related to the security of the Central and Eastern European region.
The leaders of the B9 states have been meeting regularly since 2015 to align their positions ahead of regular NATO summits.
