Senators Hilšer and Fischer to remain in presidential race

Presidential candidate Senator Marek Hilšer has rejected calls for him to withdraw from the presidential race and support either Petr Pavel or Danuše Nerudová in order to boost their chances of beating Andrej Babis in the first round of the presidential elections. Senator Hilšer said on Monday that he would remain in the race and presented his presidential priorities in a document titled Vision Czechia 2030. He said people should vote for a vision, not chose the lesser evil. Senator Pavel Fischer, who heard a similar appeal, has also decided to stay in the race.
