Vladimír Posolda to become new head of civilian intelligence service

Long-time intelligence officer Vladimír Posolda will be appointed the new head of the civilian intelligence service, the government agreed  on Wednesday. He will be appointed to the post on Thursday by Interior Minister Vít Rakušan.

The post of the head of civilian intelligence has not been filled since  September 1, when Petr Mlejnek resigned after less than two months in office due to his connections to an influential businessman suspected of being involved in a political corruption case.
