Business leader warns large companies are in trouble

Energy prices are out of control and need to be capped for large companies as well, Radek Špicar, Vice-President of the Confederation of Industry and Transport, told the news site Novinky.cz .  Špicar warned that there is a risk of closures, redundancies and companies leaving the Czech Republic. He said Volkswagen's warnings that it may move production out of the Czech Republic and Germany should be taken very seriously. While the government has agreed to cap energy prices up to a certain measure for households and small and medium-sized companies, large companies have only received a promise of some compensation.
