Number of Covid cases down after six days of slight increase
The number of newly confirmed Covid-19 cases in Czechia dropped week-on-week on Saturday after increasing for six days, according to the Ministry of Health data. Laboratories recorded 378 new cases on the first day of the weekend, which was 62 fewer than on the same day a week ago.
There were 567 people hospitalized with Covid, which is the lowest number in nearly seven weeks. The seven-day incidence rate has been stagnating for five days in a row at 102 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The highest number of infected is in the Hradec Králové region, where it stands at 119.
