Czechs lose to Sweden in their second Group B game in Tampere

Sweden beat the Czech national hockey team 5:3 in their second Group B game at the 2022 IIHF Hockey World Championship in Tampere on Sunday. The Czechs played a defensive game and coach Kari Jalonen's team was unable to follow up on Saturday's 5:1 opening win against Great Britain. The Czechs' next opponent on Tuesday will be Austria, who lost 1:3 to the Swedes in the opening round and surprisingly lost a point to the Americans in a 2:3 overtime defeat.
