Czechs to face Germany at hockey worlds after Finland defeat

The Czech Republic lost 3:0 to hosts Finland in their final group game at the Ice Hockey World Championship in Tampere on Tuesday night. The Czechs, who are coached by Finn Kari Jalonen, finished third in their group.

They had already qualified for the quarter-finals, where they will face Germany in Helsinki on Thursday.
