Czechia to provide additional EUR 18 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine
The Czech government will provide an additional EUR 18 million (around CZK 443 million) in humanitarian aid to Ukraine, Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský announced at a donor conference in Warsaw on Thursday. So far, the Czech Republic has provided EUR 22 million (over CZK 540 million) worth of aid.
Mr. Lipavský said more aid was needed in view of the ongoing conflict and growing humanitarian needs. The Czech diplomatic chief also said that Czechia could host another donor conference during the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of the year.
