Minister: Czechia to give Ukraine up to CZK 700 million in military aid

Czechia is planning to provide between CZK 600 million and CZK 700 million in military aid to Ukraine, the country’s defence minister, Jana Černochová, said after a meeting with President Petr Pavel on Wednesday.

The minister provided the head of state with a list of the materiel, which comprises unrequired items from Czech Army stores, along with a list of military aid supplied to Ukraine to date.

Ms. Černochová said supplying the planned aid to the Kyiv government would not impact Czechia’s ability to defend itself.

Czechia has been a major per capita donor to Ukraine since Russia invaded the country last year.
