Czech government not planning to raise tax on companies, says Finance Minister
The Czech government is not planning to raise taxes for companies due to the effects of the war in Ukraine and inflation, Finance Minister Zbyněk Stanjura said on Sunday. However, he did say that such an option would come into consideration if the war on Ukraine would be seen as impacting everyone and there are no signals to make that conclusion yet.
Adjustments are instead being made to the government’s spending programme and to the pensions system, the minister said.
