Czech diplomats return to country’s Kyiv embassy

Czech diplomats have returned to the country’s embassy in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Twitter on Wednesday. It said the move was an expression of support for Ukraine and that Czechia would always stand with the country. A photograph showed the Czech tricolour once again flying over the diplomatic mission.

The embassy closed on February 24, the day Russia launched a war on Ukraine. The Russians failed to capture Kyiv and have since concentrated their aggression elsewhere.
