Covid numbers continue to drop
The Czech Republic registered 22,663 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday, which is almost 15,000 fewer than on the same day last week and the lowest number on a weekday since mid-January. The incidence number has also dropped to 1,689 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants. 3,708 people are currently hospitalized with Covid, of whom 246 require intensive care. Over 3.3 million people contracted the virus in this country since the start of the pandemic. 37,712 people have died of Covid or related complications.
