Deník N: Foreign minister will not alter ambassador nominations approved by former government

Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský told daily Denik N that he is not planning to make any changes to the list of nominations for future ambassadors that were approved by the former cabinet of Andrej Babiš, the paper reported on Wednesday.

Mr Lipavský was previously critical of some of the nominations on the list, such as appointing former Health Minister Adam Vojtěch to the position of Ambassador to Finland or sending the deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Office of the President, Petr Pirunčík, to Ukraine.
