Covid: number of new cases continues to drop
On Sunday, Czech laboratories recorded 4,111 new coronavirus cases, about one-third fewer than on the same day last week.
The seven-day incidence rate now stands at 851 new infections per 100,000 people inhabitants, the lowest level since early November, according to the Ministry of Health.
Ahead of the work week, 5,561 people were being treated in hospital for Covid-19, a new low for the month of December. About one in six patients were in serious condition.
