21,126 new Covid cases recorded Wednesday, rise on previous week

There were 21,126 newly recorded cases of Covid-19 in the Czech Republic on Wednesday. This represents an increase of around 3,100 on the same day last week.

The seven-day case incidence rate rose slightly to 1,222 per 100,000.

There were 6,561 patients in hospital with the coronavirus on Wednesday, with 1,064 of them in a critical condition.
