President Zeman being transferred to standard hospital room, can receive visitors as of Monday
President Miloš Zeman is being transferred to a standard room at the Central Military Hospital in Prague, after having spent more than two weeks in an intensive care unit and a week in a rehabilitation ward.
The president’s spokesman, Jiří Ovčáček, said that as of Monday the Czech head of state will be able to receive visitors on a limited basis. Zeman has spoken to outgoing prime minister Andrej Babiš and his likely successor Petr Fiala but only via videoconference.
