Covid-19: pubs, cafés, restaurants now required to demand proof of negative test, vaccination from patrons

As of Monday, cafés, pubs and restaurants must ask patrons to prove they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or have tested negative for the virus.

As for test results, they must be less than 24 hours in the case of antigen tests and no more than three days old in the case of the more accurate PCR method.

Meanwhile, fewer people are eligible to get tested for Covid-19 free of charge, as part of the government’s drive to get more people vaccinated.
