Václav Havel Airport in Prague recommends travelers arrive three hours before flight

People flying from Prague’s Václav Havel Airport are advised to arrive at the airport three hours before their flight, Czech Television reported on Wednesday. The head of Czech Airlines Handling, Petr Baránek, told Czech Television that, on average, one in six passengers does not arrive with the necessary documentation to travel. The recommendation has been put in place to provide a time reserve for passengers during which they can prepare all that is necessary to be allowed to fly to their destination.

Newly, Prague Airport has also ended its requirement for passengers traveling within the Schengen Area to pass through passport control. However, those arriving at Prague Airport will be required to have their passports checked.
