Cyber attack targets National Library in Prague

The National Library in Prague became the target of a cyber attack on Tuesday night, according to library spokeswoman Irena Maňáková. The library immediately turned off its key systems upon noticing the cyber attack was taking place and experts are working on restoring the National Library systems back to standard operations. However, the library will remain closed on Wednesday.

The National Library has since issued criminal charges against the unknown attacker and the case is also being investigated by the National Cyber and Information Security Agency.
