Prices for old flats grew by 22.5 percent in first quarter of 2021

At the end of the first quarter of 2021 the average price for an old flat in the Czech Republic rose by 22.5 percent in year-on-year terms, the Czech News Agency reported on Wednesday.

Currently, the average price per square meter lies at CZK 80,367. In Prague, the price is the highest, lying at CZK 104,103 per square meter, while the cheapest flats can be found in the Ústí nad Labem Region where the price lies at around CZK 25,819 per square meter.

Hendrik Meyer, the director of the real estate website Bezrealitky.cz, which conducted the study, told the Czech News agency that the data shows the prices for old housing have continued to grow despite the coronavirus crisis.
