Covid-19: over 100,000 people aged 55-59 register for vaccine on day one

More than 100,000 people aged 55 to 59 registered for the Covid-19 vaccination on Wednesday, the first day they were eligible to do so, the Smart Quarantine announced on Twitter.

In total, there are about 653,000 people in this age group. Some 112,000 are already fully vaccinated as they were in high-risk categories or given priority due to their profession. Minister of Health Petr Arenberger said registration for anyone over age 16 could start at the beginning of the summer holiday.
