Karel Schwarzenberg to receive high Ukrainian award

Karel Schwarzenberg, a former senator, foreign minister and presidential candidate, is to receive one of the highest awards bestowed by Ukraine– the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, second class.

Ukrainian ambassador Yevgen Perebyinis to present the medal to Schwarzenberg in Prague on Tuesday. Last summer, President Volodymyr Zelensky honoured him for his efforts to strengthen Ukraine's international standing and promote bilateral cooperation.
